Özet

Amaç - Sigorta sektörü, ınsurtech ve dijitalizm gibi son gelişmelerle birlikte Türkiye'nin yükselen finans sektörlerinden biridir. Öte yandan, sigorta şirketlerinin etkin ve etkin yönetimi ve konumlandırılması çok önemlidir. Bu araştırma temel olarak 6 prim bağımlı değişkenle karşılaştırmalı bir çerçeve geliştirmeyi amaçlamaktadır. Beş değişken, Türk şirketlerinin faaliyetlerini (hisse senetleri ve varlıkları) primlere göre nasıl yönetebileceklerini gösterirken, diğeri (Toplam Hasar/Toplam Primler) yüksek primlerle ilgili tüketici mutluluğunu göstermektedir. Araştırma, son on yılın en büyük 7 sigorta şirketini içernektedir. 

Tasarım/veri/metodoloji – CRITIC, TOPSİS, GRA ve ELECTRE yöntemleri kullanılmıştır.

Bulgular - Bulgulara göre Aksigorta sigorta şirketi TOPSİS ve GRA sonuçlarında birinci sırada yer almaktadır. Öte yandan COVID-19 salgını nedeniyle sektörün zor zamanlar yaşadığı doğrulanmıştır. ELECTRE sonuçlarına göre, Türk sigorta şirketlerinin rekabet yapısı, araştırma örneği ve döneme ilişkin performans değişkenleri dikkate alınarak karmaşıktır.

Özgünlük / Değer - Analizin sonunda, sigorta yapısının konumlandırılmasının diğer gelişmekte olan ülkelere benzer bir model taşıdığı söylenmiştir. Ayrıca farklı ülkelerden gelen büyük numuneler için de benzer analizler yapılabilmekte ve gelecek için karşılaştırmalar yapılabilecektir.
